Love actually

I really enjoyed "love actually". Because this book had many love stories. It made me crazy at first, but I could enjoy this book for the end.

I have two favorite characters. 

The first one is Sam because I think he is very cute!!!! He always think about Joanna and he did a lot of things for her!

The ｓecond one is Jamie. I think he is kind and easygoing. However, he puts out all the stops when he really has to do something. 

I recommend this book for other ESL students. I think this book is not too difficult, so every students can read this book.

Game

My favorite game is Momotaro-Dentetsu when I was a child.

Do you know this game?

It's a video game, but it's a kind of board game. The situation is I manage a railway company.

This game made me fun and existing.

Also, I could learn a lot of things.

First, we can learn how to invest my money. This game's rule is we roll a roulette and go to a station. Then we will buy local specialties. 

Second, we can memorize place names and local specialties.

Now you can play this game on your cell phone.

This game is still popular in Japan.

travel

My favorite way to travel is car. It's because, I can relax in a car. For example, in car, I can listen to my favorite music, watch movies, eat and drink, talk loud voice and sleep. I think I don't need to pay attention to other people. Moreover, my father likes driving a car, so when my family go to domestic travel, we always use car.
However, there are disadvantages to use car. First, I get carsick when I ride in a car for many hours. Second, I can't estimate about time.
There are some disadvantages, but I like to go on a trip by car.

Calgary is Safe?

I think Calgary is one of a safe city in the world. 

Before I came to Calgary, my friends and my teachers said, "Foreign countries are not safe!!!! You should lock anything and you shouldn't leave your bag on the table." However, I didn't hear anybody became a victim in Calgary. For example, in the library, my friend and I studied and the person who was sitting next to us said "Could you keep an eye on my bag for me?" Then she went to washroom, but nothing happened. Then I felt here is safe. Also, I think Japan is a safe country too. 

On the other hand, I think we have to be careful about crimes, because there are criminals in safe countries.

My favorite sport

My favorite sport is short track speed skate. 

In the first blog, I  wrote about this sport, but I think many people don't know about it.  

One lap is 111.12 meters, and there are 4~6 player in one game. They compete for the rank.

This sport determines the relative merits in the order of arrival isn't a time trial.

It is also called  a "bicycle race on ice".

The distance are 500 meters is 4.5 laps, 1000 meters is 9 laps and 1500 meters is 13.5 laps.

I think 1000 meters is the most exiting race. It because, 1000 meters is not long but not short, so the race becomes very fast and intense.

I like skating. Furthermore, I also like watching the game.

If I Won $10 Million in the Lottery....

In December, I have to go back to Japan. 

However if I won $10 million...

I want to go study abroad again. I want to study more, and I want to make a lot of foreigner friends! After that, I'd like to visit my friends' countries. I want to know about other country's cultures and languages.

The other way to use $10 million...

I use the money for my family. We live in old apartment in Tokyo, so I will find new apartment and move to there. I want big bathroom and my room and I want to give a beautiful kitchen for my mother.

Spring for Me

My favorite season is spring.
Spring is off-season for me. In other season, I don't have long holiday. I have holiday only one day or two days.
However there are holidays for two weeks to one month, so I can go trip or go back to my hometown.
Last spring, I went to Korea with my friend. It was very very enjoyable!!!!

The other reason is spring is warm and we can do Ohanami.
I like cherry blossom. I always do Ohanami with my friends and my family and my teammate.
